2023 Charity & Donation: Hsiang Shang Social Welfare Foundation

The Hsian Shang Social Welfare Foundation was established in 1953 by Daniel A. Poling as a home for infants that did not have families to care for them. In the later years, the organizations realized that many of those children with physical, health, and mental disabilities do not have a home to go to. Therefore, in 1978, the orphanage transitioned to specializing care for childrens and individuals that are the most vulnerable and underprivileged in our society to help them walk through their day to day lives and, most importantly, give them a place to call home.
